US President Donald Trump’s swearing-in ceremony; Dr. S. Jaishankar will attend as the Indian representative.

Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States. India's representative at the ceremony will be Dr. S. Jaishankar, the Minister of External Affairs. During his visit, he will hold meetings with representatives of the incoming administration and other distinguished guests.

After losing to Joe Biden in 2020, Trump had left with the announcement that he would make a comeback. His resounding victory came by securing 277 electoral votes, defeating the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. He became the second president in American history to make a comeback after a defeat. The US election was held on November 6 last year. After witnessing several dramatic events, the American people ultimately handed over power to Trump once again.
