101st Kumbanad Convention Begins at Hebronpuram; Inaugurated by IPC General President Pastor Dr. T. Valson Abraham

Kumbanad: The Indian Pentecostal Church (IPC) General Convention commenced this evening with a blessed start. The event was inaugurated by General President Pastor T. Valson Abraham at 5:30 PM under the leadership of General Secretary Pastor Baby Varghese.
Reflecting on the past, Pastor T. Valson Abraham stated, “We can only testify that the Lord has brought us this far. God’s guidance has been evident in both our movement and personal lives.” He urged participants to pursue humility, holiness, and an intense longing for God’s presence during these days. Pastor V. J. delivered the keynote message for the day.
The 101st Convention Songbook was released by Vice President Pastor Philip P. Thomas, and Pastor V. J. Thomas delivered the main address.
As part of the convention, various programs such as gospel meetings, Bible classes, mission challenges, student and youth gatherings, women’s fellowship meetings, and young professionals’ sessions will be held.
Ministers from different states across India and from abroad are participating in the convention. Evening sessions will feature sermons by notable pastors, including Valson Abraham, Philip P. Thomas, Baby Varghese, Thomas George, Raju Anickad, John K. Mathew, K. J. Thomas, Sunny Philip, Shaji Daniel, Sabu Varghese, K. C. Thomas, Shibu Thomas, Wilson Varkey, Wilson Joseph, Raju Methra, James George, Sunny Kurien, M. S. Samuel, and Babu Cheriyan.
This year’s convention theme is “Ebenezer Jehovah Jireh.” The convention choir, accompanied by prominent singers, will lead the worship through songs.
Under the leadership of the General Council office bearers, including President Pastor T. Valson Abraham, Vice President Pastor Philip P. Thomas, General Secretary Pastor Baby Varghese, Joint Secretaries Pastor Thomas George and Varkey Abraham Kachanathu, and Treasurer John Joseph, the arrangements for the convention have been successfully completed, according to the organizers.
