Renjini RamachandranIndustries Minister P. Rajeeve has announced that an industrial park for expatriates will be established in Kannur, Kerala. Land for the expatriate industrial park has been allocated within the KINFRA industrial park in Kannur. Investors with an investment of ₹100 crore will be provided a two-year moratorium as part of the initiative. Only 10% of the total amount needs to be paid initially. Those investing between ₹50 crore and ₹100 crore need to pay only 20% upfront, and the remaining amount can be paid in installments, the minister said.
The state government is opening up investment opportunities for expatriates who continue to make invaluable contributions to Kerala's economy. The minister also stated that, apart from UAE Minister of Investment Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri will participate in the investment summit in Kerala. The minister shared this information during the roadshow held in Dubai ahead of the Invest Kerala Global Summit, which is scheduled to take place in Kochi.
