It's the season of offers. When you buy a samosa, a dead lizard comes completely free. The lizard was found in a samosa purchased from a shop near Irinjalakuda bus stand. The samosa was bought from a shop named "Bubble Tea" located on Kudalmanyakam Road, near the bus stand. At the bus stand, where many people come and go daily, most people rely on small eateries like these. It is in such circumstances that food is being prepared and sold in an unhygienic and careless manner.

Sini Rajesh from Anandapuram and her son had tea at the shop and purchased two samosas as a parcel for her daughter. After arriving home, while the daughter was eating the samosa, she found the lizard inside, as per the mother, Sini. It was the lizard that had started to decompose, which was found inside the samosa. Following this, the husband, Rajesh, immediately filed a complaint with the Irinjalakuda health department, and health department officials visited the shop to conduct an inspection.
