'Bomb Sharavanan,' a rowdy with A-plus category criminal charges, was involved in 33 criminal cases, including six murders. He threw a local bomb at the police. Although the police asked Sharavanan to surrender, he refused. Meanwhile, the bomb he threw at the police did not explode.
With this, the police shot and subdued Sharavanan. He was a close associate of the murdered BSP leader K. Armstrong. After giving a warning, the police shot Sharavanan below the knee. Four local bombs, a sickle, and five kilograms of cannabis were found in Sharavanan's bag by the police.
