KSRTC bus and car collided; car driver died

KSRTC bus and car collided in an accident. The car driver died. The incident occurred at Odakkunnu, Thamarassery, Kozhikode, yesterday night at 11:30 PM. The car, which overtook a lorry, collided with the bus. Muhammed Majdood, a resident of Elathur, lost his life in the accident.
Due to the impact of the collision, the driver was thrown out but quickly got back into the bus and applied the handbrake to stop it. The driver’s timely intervention averted a major disaster. The impact caused the lorry to overturn, and the car, caught between the two vehicles, was completely damaged. Twelve people were injured in the accident
