A bus carrying tourists to Vagamon lost control and overturned; around 44 people, including students, were injured.

A bus heading to Vagamon on a pleasure trip lost control and overturned. The accident occurred at Kallukuzhi in Kadammanitta, Pathanamthitta. The bus was carrying 51 people, including B.Ed students and teachers from Kollam Fathima Memorial Training College. The students were traveling to Vagamon in two buses. One of these buses lost control and overturned around 6:30 AM at Kallukuzhi in Kadammanitta.

Around 44 people, including B.Ed students, were injured in the accident. Two of them sustained serious injuries. However, the police confirmed that none of the injuries are critical. The injured were admitted to the taluk hospital and private hospitals. The fire force and police suspect that the bus may have lost control and overturned while negotiating a curve.
