Coimbatore Ramanathapuram businessman Balakrishnan, who was lured by a YouTuber’s words and tried to go viral by telling the story of the tiger claw he wore around his neck, has now truly gotten himself caught in trouble. However, contrary to what the YouTuber suggested, Ramanathan made headlines in a completely different way.
The young man, an Instagram influencer, met Balakrishnan a few days ago during a private event in Coimbatore. Balakrishnan, impressed by the YouTuber’s words that he looked like a king and could be made famous through a video, showcased the tiger-claw necklace he wore around his neck in the video. He claimed that the necklace was not from a hunted tiger but was purchased from Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, he said it was part of the legacy of warriors and that he was a relative of Sandow Chinnappa Thevar, who gained fame by producing MGR movies.
However, these revelations have now become his downfall. As the video went viral, Coimbatore Forest Department officials conducted a search at Balakrishnan's house, where they also discovered deer antlers. Subsequently, he was summoned for questioning on Saturday and was arrested. The Forest Department has stated that the ornament, which the accused claimed to be a tiger claw, has been sent to the Advanced Institute for Wildlife Conservation, and a charge sheet will be filed based on the results
