101st IPC General Convention Concludes with Blessings at Hebronpuram, Kumbanad

Kumbanad, Jan 20:
The 101st General Convention of the India Pentecostal Church of God (IPC) concluded with grace and blessings at Hebronpuram, Kumbanad, on January 19. The convention, which began on January 12, was inaugurated by IPC General President Pastor Dr. T. Valson Abraham. The event culminated in the Lord’s Table and a combined worship service, which witnessed the participation of thousands of believers.

Pastor Dr. T. Valson Abraham led the Lord’s Table, accompanied by Scripture readings by Pastors John Richard, Dr. Saju Joseph, and Varghese Mathai. Pastor Thomas George, IPC General Joint Secretary, delivered the message during the communion service.

The combined worship session featured sermons by Pastor Dr. Baby Varghese (General Secretary) and Pastor Raju Metra. The benediction and final prayer were offered by IPC Senior Minister Pastor Benjamin Varghese, bringing the week-long spiritual gathering to a blessed conclusion.

A Week of Spiritual Revival

The convention focused on the theme “Ebenezer – Jehovah Jireh” (1 Samuel 7:12 & Genesis 22:14). Esteemed speakers, including Pastor Dr. T. Valson Abraham, Pastor Philip P. Thomas (Vice President), Pastor Baby Varghese, and Pastor Thomas George (General Joint Secretary), led the sessions alongside prominent pastors such as Dr. K. C. John, V. J. Thomas, Raju Anikkad, John K. Mathew, Sunny Philip, Shaji Daniel, Sabu Varghese, K. C. Thomas, Shibu Thomas, Wilson Varkey, Wilson Joseph, Raju Metra, James George, Sunny Kurian, K. J. Thomas, M. S. Samuel, and Babu Cherian. These pastors delivered inspiring and spiritually enriching sermons throughout the week.

The convention choir and prominent gospel singers enriched the worship experience. The event also included various sessions such as Bible studies, PYPA (Pentecostal Young People’s Association) programs, Sunday School and Women’s Fellowship meetings, missionary conferences, NRI gatherings, youth conventions, water baptism services, and Hindi worship services, making it a vibrant and spiritually uplifting week.

The entire convention was livestreamed globally by Harvest TV Networks, enabling thousands of viewers around the world to participate virtually and be blessed by the sessions and worship services.

Organizational Leadership

The convention was organized under the leadership of IPC General President Dr. T. Valson Abraham, Vice President Pastor Philip P. Thomas, General Secretary Pastor Dr. Baby Varghese, and General Treasurer Pastor John Joseph, supported by several committees.

The 102nd IPC General Convention is scheduled to take place from January 11–18, 2026, at Hebronpuram, Kumbanad.
