Skulls found severed from bodies; Police put an end to long-standing concerns.

On Wednesday, the police arrested two individuals in connection with the case. They had opened the graves and collected the skulls for black magic rituals. Following a tip-off, the police conducted an inspection and arrested two individuals. Mohammad Imadad and Mohammad Asad are the ones who have been taken into custody.
They were arrested from Saraiya, Bora village. The skulls were collected from the cemetery in Afsar Nagar. The skulls were taken after decapitating the bodies. Residents of the area told national media that skulls had been going missing from corpses in the region for nearly five years. Skulls were found missing from more than six corpses. The police investigation began following a complaint filed by a young man named Badiru Saman, who reported that his mother's skull was missing and her grave had been opened on January 22.
The skull of Bibi Noorjahan Khatoon was found missing. She had been buried six months ago. Recently, a child's body also went missing from the cemetery. The police revealed that they recovered the skull from the arrested individuals. The accused were presented in court and have been remanded for 14 days.
The arrested individuals have confessed that they collected the skulls for black magic purposes. The cemetery contains burials from over 12 villages. Panchayat authorities explained that people letting their cattle loose weakened the cemetery's fences.
