Acid attack and brutal assault on a young woman in Cachar, Assam. The horrific incident took place in front of the woman's children. According to the police, the accused, a neighbor, assaulted the 30-year-old woman and then poured acid on her body.

The woman and the neighbor had engaged in a verbal argument. Hours later, after ensuring that the woman's husband was not at home, the accused forcefully entered her house and assaulted her. After the brutal assault, he poured acid on her body. At the time of the incident, the woman's two children were present in the house. The attack took place in front of the young children.

When the husband returned, he found the woman lying on the floor with severe burns, her hands and legs tied. She was immediately rushed to the hospital. The police have registered a case and started an investigation. The accused is currently absconding
