An ancient Hanuman temple, estimated to be a thousand years old, was discovered during house construction; devotees flock to the site.

A Hanuman temple, centuries old, has been discovered in Assam during house construction. The temple was found near the Langai River in Bilbari, Patharkandi, Assam.

The discovery was made while excavating for house construction. At the center of the temple, an idol of Hanuman was found, surrounded by idols of various other deities. Behind the temple, the Hanuman Chalisa is inscribed. Following the discovery, devotees have been flocking to the site. Many people have come forward to restore and preserve the temple.

Reports state that a committee has been formed under the leadership of a person named Anal Singh to take care of the temple. Additionally, a local resident and former soldier has donated ₹1.5 lakh for the temple’s restoration, as per national media reports.
