Billionaire businessman Gautam Adani has made a major announcement to support the weddings of differently-abled individuals. Under the initiative named 'Mangal Seva', Adani has pledged ₹10 lakh in financial assistance for the weddings of 500 differently-abled women across the country every year. This announcement comes ahead of his son Jeet Adani's wedding.
The wedding of Jeet Adani and Diva Shah is scheduled for February 7. Gautam Adani stated that the initiative was launched in accordance with his son's wishes, as a way to support newlywed differently-abled couples. As part of the first phase of the project, Jeet Adani personally handed over financial aid under the Mangal Seva scheme to 28 selected newlywed couples. Two days before his wedding, Jeet Adani met 21 newlywed differently-abled women and their husbands, providing ₹10 lakh each in financial assistance and receiving their blessings.
Gautam Adani shared the news of this initiative with a heartfelt message:
"Service is meditation, service is prayer, and service is divine. Through 'Mangal Seva,' the lives of many differently-abled daughters and their families will be uplifted with respect and happiness. May God bless my son and daughter-in-law to continue this noble endeavor."
The Jeet Adani - Diva Shah wedding will take place on Friday, February 7, in Ahmedabad. Jeet Adani currently serves as the Director of Adani Airport Holdings, India’s largest airport infrastructure company.
