A 72-year-old man has been arrested by the police for sexually assaulting a minor girl after threatening to kill her. The accused, identified as Kunhiraman from Valangad, Kozhikode, was taken into custody based on a complaint filed by the girl's parents.

The accused allegedly forced the girl into an abandoned house under construction and sexually assaulted her while threatening to kill her. He later warned her not to reveal the incident to anyone before letting her go.

However, as soon as she reached home, the girl informed her parents about the abuse, leading them to file a complaint with the police. The accused was presented before the court, and his arrest was officially recorded.
