Woman Killed in Wild Elephant Attack in Peruvanthanam
Sofia Ismail (45), a resident of Nellivila Puthenveedu, lost her life in a wild elephant attack in Peruvanthanam. The incident occurred at TR & TE Estate in Kombanpara.
Sofia was reported missing, prompting her family to search for her. She was later found dead. Her family resides near the forest border. The elephant attacked her while she was walking after getting off a bus at Kombukuthy.
This is the second fatal elephant attack this month. On February 6, Vimalan (57) from Chambakkad Kudi was killed in a similar attack in Marayoor, Idukki.
