Football victory celebration; clash between fans; house set on fire, two injured.

During a football match, a clash occurred between fans. The victory euphoria crossed its limits in Chithari, Kasaragod. The incident took place during the final of a football match organized by Chithari Haseena Sports and Arts Club. The fans of the winning team, Young Heroes of Poochakkad, allegedly entered the field and assaulted the youth. Two people were injured. Following this, a house in Poochakkad was set on fire.

A verbal argument escalated into the clash. Rafee and Basith from Thekkumpuram sustained injuries. After the incident, a group set fire to the house of KM Faisal on Rahmath Road in Poochakkad. The group arrived on two bikes, poured petrol, and set the fire. Furniture, including other belongings, was destroyed in the fire. At the time of the incident, only Faisal’s wife and children were at the house. The Bekal Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
