6-Year-Old Girl Injured in a Wild Boar Attack
A six-year-old girl was injured in a wild boar attack at Uzhunnuparambu, Nariyampadam, Muthukurussi, Thachampara, Palakkad. The injured child, Prarthana, is the daughter of Santhosh and Binciya. The incident occurred at around 8:30 AM in Uzhunnuparambu.

After dropping off their elder daughter, Keerthana, at the school bus, Binciya and Prarthana were returning home when the wild boar charged at them. The impact caused the baby in Binciya's arms to be thrown to the ground, after which the animal attacked the child.

Locals rushed to their aid and took both Binciya and the injured child to a private hospital in Thachampara. Prarthana sustained injuries on her left leg in two places as well as on her head.
