Explosion at School Injures Plus-One Student
An explosive device detonated at Pazhayannur Government Higher Secondary School, injuring a Plus-One student. The explosion occurred in the school veranda yesterday around 1:30 PM.

The blast happened while students were playing with a ball-like object wrapped in cellotape, which they had found on the school premises.

The injured student sustained minor injuries to his leg and was taken to the hospital for first aid before being sent home. Following the incident, a bomb squad conducted an inspection.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the explosive device was likely set up for trapping wild boars and might have been brought into the school premises by stray dogs or other animals. Pazhayannur police have registered a case and begun an investigation.
