Eating from plastic containers? Then forget about your heart.

Regular Consumption from Plastic Containers Doubles the Risk of Cardiac Arrest, Study Finds

A new study suggests that regularly eating food from plastic containers can double the risk of cardiac arrest. Despite numerous reports highlighting the harmful effects of plastic on the human body, the use of plastic containers for food consumption has become increasingly common.

Research indicates that consuming food from plastic containers leads to changes in gut microbiota, causing inflammation and disruptions in the circulatory system, both of which increase the likelihood of cardiac arrest.

Scientists have found that microplastics leach into food, enter the intestines, and damage the gut lining. Excessive exposure to plastic has been linked to an increased risk of cardiac arrest. When plastic is exposed to even slight heat, it releases harmful chemicals. Similar risks arise when hot food items are packed in plastic containers.
