Rahul Gandhi urges Congress workers to gear up for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh elections

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has urged party workers to strengthen the organization and begin preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. He made this statement during a meeting with party workers at his residence in Raebareli. During the discussion, party workers raised various issues, including concerns related to Dalits.

According to Sunil Kumar Gautam, head of the Congress Scheduled Caste Department, a 12-member delegation met with Rahul Gandhi. They brought to his attention various challenges faced by Dalits since the BJP came to power. One of the key issues highlighted was that sanitation workers from the Valmiki community are being forced to work in municipalities without any safety measures, which is in violation of Supreme Court rulings.

Rahul Gandhi, who was on a two-day visit to the constituency, concluded his visit and returned.
