Stone Pelting at Hotel Over Kuzhimanthi Issue in Kozhikode
A hotel in Kozhikode was attacked with stones over a dispute regarding Kuzhimanthi. The incident took place in Kunnamangalam, resulting in injuries to two people and damage to the hotel. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.

The incident occurred the previous day following an argument over Kuzhimanthi. A group of three people was behind the attack. The trio arrived at the hotel at night and demanded Kuzhimanthi for ₹100. However, the hotel staff informed them that it was not possible. This led to a heated argument with the staff. Shortly after, the group left the hotel and returned to pelt stones at the establishment.

The attack caused the hotel’s glass windows to shatter. At the time of the incident, a mother and her child were sitting inside and having food. They sustained injuries and were immediately taken to the hospital. Kunnamangalam police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
