Shami, who is critically injured and undergoing treatment in the hospital after a brutal attack by her elder son, first asked for her younger son, Afsan. According to the relatives, Shami has 13 stitches on her head. The bones beneath both of her eyes are fractured, and she is struggling to speak. Despite the pain, she managed to talk to a close relative and wept while recalling the incident. However, she did not ask anything about Afan, the relatives revealed.

It is believed that the fatal blow to the back of Afsan’s head caused his death. The injury was inflicted just behind his ear. Police suspect that Afan first attacked his own mother, Shami, who is battling cancer.
