Tamarssery student murder: Exam center of the accused shifted; action taken as per police request.

Exam Center of Accused in Thamarassery Student Murder Case Shifted

The exam center of the accused in the murder case of Shahbaz, a 10th-grade student in Thamarassery, has been shifted to Vellimadukunnu, Kozhikode. The change was made following a request from the police, who had sent a letter to the Pareeksha Bhavan Secretary.

Meanwhile, images proving the main accused’s father’s links to contract killings have surfaced. The photos show him with T.K. Rajeesh, an accused in the T.P. Chandrasekharan murder case. Shahbaz’s family has alleged that the father of the main accused was present at the scene when other students attacked Shahbaz.

The nunchaku used in the attack was also recovered from the accused’s house. T.K. Rajeesh has a history of criminal activities, including gold smuggling, contract killings, and illegal money transactions, for which he has served jail time.

Shahbaz’s father, Iqbal, has claimed that the murder was a premeditated act carried out with the knowledge of the accused students’ parents. He also alleged that three of the five accused were previously involved in an assault case against other students, including girls, in January last year. That case, he claimed, was later settled with the intervention of the accused students' parents.
