Dispute with Deepu Karunakaran; AMMA calls for discussion following Anashwara's complain

AMMA Intervenes to Resolve Dispute Between Actress Anashwara Rajan and Director Deepu Karunakaran

The Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) has stepped in to mediate the dispute between actress Anashwara Rajan and director Deepu Karunakaran. Both parties have been called for a discussion on the 8th of this month. Anashwara had earlier filed a complaint against the director with AMMA, prompting the organization's intervention. Meanwhile, Deepu Karunakaran had also lodged a complaint against Anashwara with FEFKA.

Today, Anashwara publicly addressed the issue through her Instagram account. The director had accused her of not cooperating with the promotion of his new film Mr. & Mrs. Bachelor. Responding to this, Anashwara stated that she had already given interviews as part of the film’s promotions. She suggested that Deepu might have mentioned her name because she is a newcomer and a female artist, assuming she would not respond.

Anashwara further clarified that if Deepu continues to make defamatory remarks against her, she will take official action. She also announced that she would pursue legal action against YouTube channels and vloggers who have been spreading baseless allegations and publishing defamatory news about her without verifying the facts over the past few days.
