CPM state conference in Kollam, MLA kept out; Unofficial ban on Mukesh?

There are indications that CPM state conference in Kollam has imposed a ban on local MLA and actor Mukesh. Reports suggest that Mukesh is currently outside the district. His absence from the conference, which is being held in his own constituency, has already sparked discussions.

Mukesh has not participated in any party events since a charge sheet was filed in the case related to a complaint by an actress from Aluva. The last event he attended was the logo unveiling of the conference. Reports suggest that he has been barred from attending the state conference.

Meanwhile, Mukesh clarified that he was not invited because he had informed the party that he would not be in Kollam on the conference days. As the MLA of Kollam, Mukesh was expected to be one of the key organizers. Although he is not a state representative, he could have attended the inaugural session in his capacity as the local MLA.

The conference, held at Kollam Town Hall, renamed as "Kodiyeri Balakrishnan Nagar," is being attended by 530 representatives.
