Governor Brian Kemp Appoints New Director to Georgia Regional Transportation Authority Board

Atlanta, Georgia – Governor Brian Kemp has appointed Indian-American entrepreneur Himanshu Karnwal as the new Director of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (GRTA) Board. Expressing heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity, Karnwal pledged to contribute to the continued growth and development of the state's transportation sector.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Georgia State Capitol, where Karnwal took his oath of office on the Shrimad Bhagwat Gita. He described this as a great honor and a profound blessing. The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including state officials and community leaders.

Among those present were Shawn Still, Matt Reeves, Scott Hilton, John Bradberry, and Lynne Riley, along with friends Sreedhar Venkat, Prakash Srivastava, Rahul Gautam, Swetha Pakala, Keshav Pandiri, Shivakumar Sharma, and Sanjeev Gupta.

Expressing appreciation for the appointment, Karnwal thanked Governor Kemp for his trust and confidence. He reaffirmed his commitment to serving the state of Georgia through his new role in the GRTA.
