A 21-year-old named Harsh Nader has been arrested for murdering his friend to finance a trip with his girlfriend. The police apprehended him while he was vacationing with his girlfriend in Jaisalmer. The victim was Ketan Vaghela, a 15-year-old who was a close friend of Harsh.
Reports suggest that Harsh was driven to commit the crime due to his girlfriend's persistent requests to go on a trip. Facing severe financial difficulties, he did not have the money to take her on the vacation. During this time, he noticed the gold chain Ketan wore around his neck. The next day, Harsh called Ketan to his house, killed him, and stole the chain. He pawned the gold chain for ₹1 lakh, which he used to travel to Jaisalmer with his girlfriend.
When Ketan went missing, his parents filed a complaint with the police. During the search conducted by his relatives and local residents, Ketan’s bicycle and footwear were found near Harsh’s house. Upon being informed, the police intensified their investigation and eventually discovered Ketan’s body.
Using mobile phone tracking, the police traced Harsh to Jaisalmer, where he was subsequently arrested.
