No one would have forgotten Twitter’s blue bird. It was not a bird that could be easily forgotten. In 2023, Elon Musk renamed the popular microblogging platform Twitter as "X." Along with the new name, the logo was also changed. Now, this iconic logo has been auctioned off.
The logo was sold for $4,375 in the auction. When converted to Indian currency, this amounts to approximately ₹34 lakh. The auction was conducted by RR Auction, a company well known for selling rare collectibles. The logo, measuring 12 feet in length, 9 feet in width, and weighing 254 kilograms, was officially confirmed to have been sold.
The auction company also revealed that the Twitter Blue Bird logo fetched around $34,375. However, the identity of the buyer—whether an individual or an institution—has not yet been disclosed by RR Auction. In addition to the blue bird logo, several other tech collectibles were also auctioned.
