Blue Whale Challenge Resurfaces; 40 Students Cut Their Wrists for a ₹10 Reward

After a brief period, the Blue Whale Challenge has once again emerged as a threat among students. The online game caught the attention of the police after a group of students collectively cut their wrists as part of the challenge. Shockingly, they did this for a mere ₹10 reward.

This disturbing incident was reported from Gujarat, where students from Mot Munjiasar Primary School inflicted self-harm. However, the police clarified that the injuries were not severe, and no major nerve damage occurred. Investigations confirmed that the students were influenced by tasks assigned as part of the Blue Whale game.

The incident has caused widespread concern among parents and school authorities. The victims were seventh-grade students, and the issue came to light when their parents noticed the wounds on their hands after they returned home. Upon further inquiry, the truth was revealed, leading the village sarpanch and parents to file a complaint at the police station.

The Bagasara Police have assured that strict action will be taken regarding the incident.
