Six Bangladeshi Nationals Arrested for Illegally Staying in India

Six Bangladeshi citizens who were residing in India illegally have been arrested in Delhi. They were found begging in transgender attire while staying in the city. The North West District Police arrested all six individuals on Friday.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Main Khan alias Mohammad Zakaria, Suhana Khan alias Saurabh, Akhi Sarkar, Pakhi alias Mohammad Khan, Mohammad Rana, and Jani alias Jimmy Hussain. They hail from different regions of Bangladesh, including Barguna, Gazipur, and Naogaon. They had entered India illegally through an agent. The accused were residing in the Jahangirpuri area of Delhi.
They were engaged in begging at traffic signals while dressed as transgender individuals. During the investigation, it was discovered that they had downloaded a prohibited app on their mobile phones. This app was being used to communicate with their relatives in Bangladesh.
Delhi Police stated that the arrested individuals have been handed over to the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) for deportation proceedings.
