Young Man Arrested for Stabbing Wife and Three Others to Death in Kodagu, Karnataka

A young man has been arrested for brutally stabbing his wife and three others to death in Kodagu, Karnataka. The accused, Girish, is a native of Thirunelli, Wayanad. The victims were his wife, Nagi (30), their daughter, Kaveri (5), and Nagi’s parents, Kariya (75) and Gauri (70). Girish and his family had moved to Karnataka for work at a coffee plantation in Kollathodu.

Girish reportedly had an extramarital affair, which often led to heated arguments between him and his wife. On the day of the crime, a dispute escalated, and in a fit of rage, Girish attacked Nagi with a machete, killing her. He then murdered their daughter and Nagi’s parents, who had witnessed the crime.

After committing the murders, Girish fled the scene. When friends and neighbors started searching for Nagi and her family, they discovered the gruesome crime and informed the police. The accused was later arrested from Thalappuzha in Wayanad.
