Malayalis who traveled from Oman for Umrah met with a car accident; Three dead, including a woman and her son

Malayalis traveling from Oman to Mecca for Umrah met with a car accident, resulting in the deaths of three people, including two children. One person sustained severe injuries. The accident occurred at Batha, near the Saudi-Oman border.

The car was carrying the families of Misab, a native of Mambram, Kannur, and Shihab, a native of Payyoli, Kozhikode, both of whom are national secretaries of RSC Oman.

Shihab’s wife Sahla, their daughter Aaliya, and Misab’s son Dhakwan lost their lives in the accident. The incident took place on Sunday at around 8:30 AM. The bodies of the children were shifted to a hospital in Batha.

Misab’s wife, Safeena, sustained critical injuries and has been admitted to a hospital in Al-Ahsa, in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province. Misab and Shihab survived with minor injuries.
