Malayali dies of heart attack while returning to Saudi from Bahrain after celebrating Eid holidays.

A Malayali man passed away due to a heart attack while returning to Saudi Arabia from Bahrain after celebrating the Eid holidays. The deceased has been identified as Padmakumar Vanajakshi Sahadevan (48), a native of Paravanakkonam, Thiruvananthapuram. The family confirmed that cardiac arrest was the cause of death.
Padmakumar had traveled to Bahrain with a friend to celebrate the Eid holidays in Saudi Arabia. While returning, he lost consciousness on the Saudi-Bahrain Causeway. He collapsed soon after crossing the Saudi border following immigration procedures. His friend immediately rushed him to Al Yousif Hospital, but doctors were unable to save his life.
Padmakumar was working as a Tank Department Manager at a contracting company in Jubail.
He is survived by his wife Yamuna, father Sahadevan, mother Vanajakshi, and daughter Nis. His mortal remains are currently kept at Al Yousif Hospital mortuary and will be repatriated to India after completing official procedures.
Salim Alappuzha, the convener of the Pravasi Welfare Jubail Janasevana Division, and Nas Vakku, a social worker from the Eastern Province, are coordinating the necessary formalities.
