Woman Arrested with Hybrid Marijuana Worth 2 Crore Rupees; Allegedly Supplied Drugs to Shine Tom Chacko and Sreenath Bhasi

A woman and a man were arrested in Alappuzha with ₹2 crore worth of hybrid cannabis. They were caught while traveling with children. The arrested individuals have been identified as Kristina alias Tasleem Sultana, a native of Chennai, and Firoz, a resident of Mannanchery.
According to Alappuzha Deputy Excise Commissioner, the accused have links to the film industry. Kristina reportedly stated during interrogation that actors Shine Tom Chacko and Sreenath Bhasi were supplied with banned narcotics. She also allegedly revealed the names of other individuals from the film industry involved in drug use.
Authorities suspect that the hybrid cannabis was smuggled from Thailand. Police believe that Kristina and Firoz had come to Alappuzha to sell the drugs. Based on intelligence reports suggesting her involvement in supplying narcotics to people in the film industry, excise officials had been monitoring Tasleem Sultana for nearly three months.
Additionally, Kristina was previously arrested in Ernakulam in connection with a sex racket case.
