Sacred Heart Church has stated that the Delhi Police denied permission for the Kuruthola procession. Church officials said the denial was due to security concerns.
The procession was originally planned to go from St. Mary’s Church to Sacred Heart Cathedral. However, with the permission denied, the procession will now be limited to the church premises. Sacred Heart is the church where the Prime Minister attends Christmas and Easter celebrations.
