Explosion at a firecracker manufacturing unit in Andhra Pradesh; 8 dead, 7 injured.

Eight workers were killed in an explosion at a firecracker manufacturing unit in Anakapalli district of Andhra Pradesh. Among the deceased were two women and six men. All of them were employees at the firecracker unit. Seven others were injured in the incident.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed shock over the tragedy. He stated that all the injured have been shifted to the hospital and are receiving the best possible treatment. Home Minister V. Anitha confirmed the deaths, saying, “Eight people, including two women, died in the fire, and seven others were injured.”

Earlier this month, a similar incident occurred in Gujarat's Banaskantha district. In Deesa, an explosion at a firecracker factory led to parts of the building catching fire and collapsing, resulting in the deaths of seven people.
