More details have emerged regarding the incident where a minor girl was seen standing in a queue at a Bevco outlet. Police clarified that it was her father who made her stand in line. He was summoned to the station. The incident took place in Pattambi, Palakkad.

A man from Mattaya had brought the girl with him to the Bevco outlet. The incident occurred around 8 PM last night at the premium counter of the Karimpinakkad Bevco outlet in Thrithala, Pattambi. Even though people in the queue raised objections, the man accompanying the girl refused to remove her from the line. A bystander recorded video footage of the incident, which later surfaced.

The man reportedly told the police that he had been abroad for a long time and had returned home for Vishu. He claimed that his daughter always accompanies him wherever he goes. Yesterday, while stepping out to buy some items, she came along, and it was during that time he went to the Bevco outlet. He said he brought her along thinking she would be left alone at home otherwise.
