After the sorrow of Good Friday comes the joy of Easter, and this truth gives us the strength to overcome hardships, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in his Easter message. He noted that Easter brings a message of hope — a light that no obstacle in the world can block.
Easter reminds us that no struggle for goodness and justice is ever in vain. For those of us who dream of a better tomorrow where everyone lives in equality and happiness, Easter celebrations inspire collective efforts to build a New Kerala, the Chief Minister added.
Opposition Leader V.D. Satheesan wrote on Facebook that Easter is the celebration of resurrection after suffering and crucifixion. It is a time when the hopes and dreams of people around the world take form in Christ. Easter commemorates the sacrifice of the Son of Man, who was crucified for the redemption of humanity’s sins.
