In the autobiography controversy, E.P. Jayarajan has stated that no further action will be taken against DC Books. He clarified that there was no contract with DC Books to publish his autobiography, and since they admitted their mistake, further action has been dropped. Jayarajan added that DC Books had responded to the legal notice he sent, admitting their fault.
Having accepted the explanation provided by DC Books, Jayarajan said that taking the matter again to court or any other authority would only amount to unnecessary stubbornness. He alleged that certain politically motivated individuals were behind this controversy, which was created with specific political interests and aimed at personally attacking him. However, he made it clear that he has no intention of seeking revenge. He also announced that his autobiography will be published by Mathrubhumi next month.
Earlier, reports had surfaced claiming that the autobiography contained remarks critical of the CPI-M and LDF. Following this, Jayarajan filed a complaint with the DGP, demanding an investigation into the circulated information. His complaint alleged that fake documents were created and false propaganda was spread under the guise of the autobiography.
