Elon Musk reportedly leaving the Trump administration as his 130-day tenure comes to an end.

There are plans for Elon Musk to leave the Trump administration and his position as a "special government employee," a White House official told ABC News.
According to the official, Musk's off-boarding will start Wednesday night at the White House.
Musk thanked President Donald Trump in a post on X Wednesday night, stating that his Department of administration Efficiency (DOGE) staff will keep up their efforts across the administration.
"As my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending," Musk wrote on Twitter. The DOGE mission, he continued, "will only strengthen over time as it becomes a way of life throughout the government."
