Grok AI Chatbot Coming to Telegram; $300 Million Partnership with Elon Musk’s xAI

Telegram has announced a one-year partnership with Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company, xAI. Under this agreement, xAI’s AI chatbot, Grok, will be made available on the Telegram platform. Telegram CEO Pavel Durov confirmed that the company will receive $300 million (approximately ₹2,500 crore) in a mix of cash and equity as part of the deal.

As per the agreement, Telegram will earn 50% of the revenue from Grok subscriptions purchased within the app. Initially accessible only to Telegram Premium users, Grok is now expected to become available to all users through this new partnership.

Grok offers a range of advanced features including chat summarization, writing suggestions, sticker creation, and support for business needs. Tech experts view this strategic partnership as a major step that could help Telegram expand its user base and establish a strong presence in the field of artificial intelligence.
