Ahmedabad Plane Crash: NFL legend Tom Brady donates $2 million to the Red Cross.

On June 12, in the aftermath of the tragic Air India AI-171 plane crash in Ahmedabad, NFL legend Tom Brady extended his support to those affected by the disaster. He expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and donated $2 million (approximately ₹16.7 crore) to the Red Cross for relief efforts.

The Boeing 787 aircraft had crashed into a medical college hostel just minutes after taking off from Ahmedabad. In this devastating tragedy, 269 people lost their lives, with only one passenger miraculously surviving.

Brady’s generous contribution will be utilized to aid rescue operations, provide medical assistance, and offer psychological support and care to the families of the victims.

Global agencies including Boeing and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are currently conducting a detailed investigation to determine whether engine or electrical system failures caused the crash.
