In the Westchester County CSEA 9200 union election, the 'Restoring Our Strength' slate wins a resounding victory.

New York: In a major victory, the Restoring Our Strength slate has won the election in CSEA 9200, the largest union in Westchester County—the Civil Service Employees Association (CSEA). Representing workers from a wide range of sectors such as public safety, corrections, probation, healthcare, lab & research, social services, DPW, DEF, and parks, this win comes after a highly contested election.

CSEA 9200 is ultimately responsible for all union-related matters in Westchester County. Directly affiliated with Local 860, this unit holds key responsibilities such as strengthening the union, improving and protecting members’ working conditions and service terms, and ensuring the rights of individual members are safeguarded. The unit also plays an active role in practical functions like negotiating and implementing collective bargaining agreements, assisting members in grievance procedures or disciplinary actions related to contract violations, and maintaining continuous communication with both union members and the Local. This election victory is expected to bring renewed energy to the union’s activities and future initiatives.
