Following the ceasefire agreement, Iran launches missile attack on Israel; Israel to deliver strong retaliation against Tehran.

Reports indicate that Iran launched a missile attack on Israel shortly after the ceasefire agreement came into effect. According to the Times of Israel, Israel’s defense system intercepted two ballistic missiles fired by Iran. As sirens sounded across northern Israel, authorities instructed residents to remain in shelters.
Israel is now preparing for a strong retaliation. Defense Minister Israel Katz has reportedly ordered the military to launch a powerful counterattack, including a potential strike at the heart of Tehran. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich warned Iran, stating, “Tehran will tremble.”
Just hours earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump had announced that a ceasefire had been reached between the two countries. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had also confirmed Israel’s acceptance of the ceasefire. Although Iranian media had acknowledged the agreement, no official Iranian leader had publicly commented on the ceasefire—adding a new layer of complexity to the unfolding conflict.
