With a vibrant ceremony, a new chapter begins for the North Shore Rotary Club; Dr. Bhavani Srinivasan assumes office as President.

In a glittering celebration, the North Shore Rotary Club hosted its 2025–26 Presidential Installation Ceremony and Gala Night at Mint, Garden City. Marking a joyous and memorable evening, Dr. Bhavani Srinivasan officially assumed office as the club’s new president. 

Outgoing president Dr. Rakesh Sharma was also present at the ceremony. 

The grand event was attended by esteemed elected officials, leaders, distinguished guests, and dignitaries from District 7255. With a premium open bar, delicious cuisine, and captivating entertainment, the gala offered an unforgettable experience.

 The evening began with a mesmerizing musical performance by Roy Anthony and his son, elevating the ambiance to new heights. Emcees Kamini and Rahul then warmly welcomed the gathering. The evening featured a patriotic oath-taking by Dr. Nita Mehta and a rendition of the U.S. national anthem by Karishma Pahuja. Vandana Kumar introduced Vinod Goyal and Sunil Makhijani to lead the Indian national anthem.

 Following this, a prayer session led by a priest commenced with an introduction by Gobind Bhatti. A devotional Ganesh Vandana performance by Madhu Arun added a spiritual touch to the event. 

Farewell speeches were delivered by Dr. Rakesh Sharma and Lydia Wells, followed by reflections from Beverly, Mamta, and Neelima. Kamini G. presented the project report for the 2024–25 year, and the oath ceremony was conducted for Dr. Sharma, Dr. Bhavani, and Lydia Wells.

 New members Dr. Sumita Sengupta and Dr. Abh Bhatnagar were introduced to the attendees. Later, emcee Kamini introduced Desena, and Mukund Mehta presented Ragini Srivastava. Various distinguished guests were honored during the evening. 

Honorary plaques were presented to Neeta Bhasin by Nita Mehta and to Jagdish Patel by Shyam Rao. Dr. Bhavani introduced guest speaker Vibhuti Jha. Sevang Gyaltson from the Consulate Office and dancer Jyotika Patel were warmly welcomed. 

Vandana Kumar introduced Vinod Goyal and Sunil Makhijani to the gathering. The evening concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Abh Bhatnagar, drawing the curtain on a splendid celebration.
