Chicago Indo-US Lions Club Expands Community Impact with Hygiene and Food Donation Drives in Wheeling and Lake Park Schools
Wheeling, IL –
The Chicago Indo-US Lions Club recently partnered with local organizations and student leaders to support families, seniors, and students across Illinois through coordinated food and hygiene kit donation drives.

On November 11, 2025, the Chicago Indo-US Lions extended their community service efforts by donating healthy hygiene kits to young women at Lake Park High Schools in Illinois. This initiative was inspired by the efforts of students - such as Sunny Trivedi, Ian Witt, Kaden Garcia, Syesha Sakhuja, Siyara Sakhuja and their friends - who dedicated their time to environmental projects and recommended that a donation be made to support their school community. In response, the Lions Club was proud to fulfill this request and help promote the well-being and dignity of Lake Park students.

Just days later, on November 14, 2025, the Chicago Indo-US Lions Club joined hands with Seva Illinois and the Swaminarayan Temple in Wheeling to donate essential food and hygiene kits to the Wheeling Food Pantry. This collaborative effort provided crucial support to local seniors and families, helping ensure continued access to nourishing food and necessary supplies.

Through these initiatives, the Chicago Indo-US Lions Club and its partners reaffirm their commitment to service, collaboration, and community uplift. Together, they proudly serve Illinois communities with dedication, compassion, and a shared vision of care for those in need.
