Varma changed definition of filmmaking: Kay Kay Menon
Actor Kay Kay Menon, who worked with Ram Gopal Varma in "Sarkar", says
the filmmaker gave a new definition to filmmaking with movies like
"Satya" and "Rangeela".
"With 'Satya', 'Rangeela' and 'Sarkar' he changed the definition of filmmaking," Kay Kay told IANS.
"Our
industry went into coma after watching these films. People felt we will
make same kind of films and make money, but Ram changed it all," he
added.
Kay Kay, who has been in the industry for almost 20 years,
has also been appreciated by many. But he says he doesn't take success
too seriously.
"It's been 20 years and it's a normal journey.
After too much of praise, I don't take success to my head and after too
much of criticism, I don't get upset," he said.
