OPEC daily basket price closes higher

The basket of 12 crude oils
of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) closed at
$43.24 a barrel Tuesday, compared with $42.90 a barrel Monday, the OPEC
secretariat said.
The OPEC reference basket of crudes (ORB) is
made up of the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola),
Oriente (Ecuador), Iran Heavy (Iran), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export
(Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Qatar Marine (Qatar),
Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (UAE) and Merey (Venezuela). One
barrel of crude oil contains 159 litres.
