India's forex reserves reach $330 bn
Chennai: India's foreign exchange reserves rose to around $330 billion Feb 6, up from $327.8 billion a week before, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said Friday.
In its weekly statistical bulletin supplement, the RBI said the total foreign exchange reserves stood at $330 billion Feb 6 as against $327 billion Jan 30.
According to the RBI, the foreign currency assets Feb 6 stood at $304.4 billion as compared to $303.3 billion Jan 30.
The gold reserves stood at $20 billion Feb 6 up from $19.3 billion.
The special drawing rights went up marginally $4.09 billion from $4.07 billion during the period under review.
On the other hand, the reserve position with International Monetary Fund went down to $977 million from $1.1 billion.
