GOPIO Chicago chapter to host business conference and annual gala

Chicago: The Global Organization of Indians (GOPIO) Chicago chapter is hosting a business conference and annual gala on April-18th at 5:30 pm at Oak Brook Marriott's Grand Ball Room, announced chapter president Gladson Varghese and  executive board at  a press conference held at Punjabi Dhaba Restaurant.

Varghese gave an overview of the event which is divided as three sections. It starts with business networking, where several business leaders will attend followed by a business conference. CEOs, CTOs, CFOs of large companies like JP Morgan Chase, Motorola, Abbott, UL, Accenture along with Consul General of India will attend the event.

The public meeting will start at 7 pm, which will be attended by several US political leaders, congressmen, Lt. Governor of Illinois, state senators and state representatives. The annual gala and Dinner starts at 8 pm, with a cultural program including several dazzling dances, live music by bollywood singers, a fashion show and performances by artists from India and the US.

Varghese said the Chicago chapter is very proud to organize the great event in Oak Brook Marriott, which is centrally located, so that people from various parts of the city and suburbs can attend the event.

The highlight of the event is an awards ceremony. Awards will be presented in various categories  including best businessman; community; woman leader and student of the year.

Treasurer Syed Hussaini, business conference chairman Vikrant Singh, secretary Savinder Singh, advisory board member Hina Trivedi, jt. treasurer Joe Nedumgottil, board members, Dr Bapu Arakapudi,  Harish Kolasani and media advisory board member Vandana Jhingan  explained the details of various programs and answered questions from the media.
